I was raised Christian but stopped believing in God when I was a teen because of how my parents lived their lives. To the outside world they were “good people” but at home there was no love or compassion, only discipline and rules. I recently read the book “The Shack.” That book has taught me more about God’s love and forgiveness than any church or “Christian” ever did. My parents are still the same people but I have forgiven them and if I love them enough maybe they will see a difference in me. If everyone loves EVERYONE, without judgement, without fear, without hate, maybe then the world will be a better place. If you’re reading this, know that I LOVE YOU.
